What do you get when you cross a goofy Chargers fan with a sorority girl fresh off the plane from Guam? This may sound like the opening of a hopeless one-liner, but really it's how Greg and Kerrie's story together begins.
Kerrie couldn't believe her luck when a tall, dark, and handsome "Prince Charming" came knocking at her door on Balboa Island to pick her up for dinner. Greg was equally impressed that this Swedish-looking "bombshell" actually had a brain on her (and a sense of humor, to boot!)What may have started out as any old blind date quickly turned into an instant connection as the pair bonded over a mutual love of fried calamari ("snorkels") and Blockbuster nights.
Fast forward a year and some months later, to what Kerrie thought was just a routine bi-monthly jaunt back to her old stomping grounds of Balboa Island on New Year's Eve day. Breakfast seemed normal enough. Belly Bomber's were served (Kerrie didn't notice Greg's sudden nervous lack of appetite), and conversation was shared (must have been good ol' female intuition when Kerrie innocently confessed to Greg that she had recently practiced signing her name "Kerrie Underhill"). The typical stroll to the waterfront followed, and the couple sat down on their usual bench to enjoy the brisk ocean air. Before Kerrie could realize what was going on, Greg had professed his love for her and excitement for their future together, and dropped to his knee to ask for her hand in marriage.
Which brings us to the present: On October 5, 2007, Greg and Kerrie will say their "I Do's". The two of them are both thrilled and honored to share their passage into the next phase of their journey together with you.
